Evolve Arts Trunk Show

Evolve Arts Trunk Show

This weekend I hosted a trunk show for a friend who handcrafts jewelry. The name of her company is Evolve Arts. Meghan (my friend’s name) is an Artisan and makes the jewelry out of pennies. And recently, she has ventured off into other materials as well.

We had a great turn out and I appreciate everyone who showed up and took advantage of the preview and time to catch up with girlfriends. I had so much fun seeing some ladies I haven’t been able to see in a while. Thank you all for attending.

Here are some photos from the event:

And even hair barrettes!

I love the story behind how and why Meghan started Evolve Arts. She told me the story of when she went to a festival and bought some jewelry from a local artisan. She loved the jewelry so much and thought to herself, “I can do this.” So she started with sheet metal but found it to be a little too frustrating and so she thought, “Why not work with pennies!” Ever since, Meghan has been very busy and successful.

Meghan had us all cracking up with her stories of making the jewelry and how she got started. She has a fantastically supportive husband who doesn’t mind the garage being taken over by kilns and blow torches. Hey, that’s a great name for a blog if she ever wanted to start one for her business; Kilns and Blow Torches. Ha!

For hosting a trunk show, I was rewarded generously. Check out my loot.
