Goals for My #MoxieFit50 Challenge

I’ve been meaning to write this post for a couple of weeks now. My goals for my #MoxieFit50 Challenge. Where I set goals, create tasks, execute action plans, and blog about the journey.

When I created this little challenge for myself, I decided to share it with my CrossFit coach. He asked me what goals I had in mind. I could not answer him because I didn’t have any goals.

FYI, I’m at Jones Valley Crossfit where the coaches are Wes Wyatt and Tracey Rauer.

So, after thinking about his question I decided to come up with some goals.

Goals for My #MoxieFit50 Challenge

GOAL #1
When I started this challenge, it was 27 weeks from the starting point until I turn 50-years old in December. When I started this challenge I weighed 177lbs. and my goal is to get down to 150 lbs. That’s 27 lbs I have to lose, that’s 1 pound per week! It works out perfectly.

Now, I don’t know if I can lose 27 lbs or not but I’m gonna give it my all. If I don’t lose the 27 lbs then I’ll be happy with getting to a size 10 comfortably. Right now I’m a good size 14.

GOAL #2
To be able to do an unassisted pull-up. Actually, to do a few, in a row without needing bands assisting me. Right now, I have to use these gigantic rubber band looking things to help spring me up to the bar.

GOAL #3
CrossFit has age categories, mainly for the Games and I am in the Masters category. Currently, I am in the 45-49 Women’s Master age-range. And of course in December, I will move into the 50-54 age-range. I would like to be able to do a Master’s WOD without having to scale it. This also means I need to add a couple of more movements to my goal-setting; chest-to-bar and muscle-ups!

GOAL #4
I have just now added this one and it is a big fat scary one for me too. This goal is to sign up and participate in a local competition. YIKES! This totally freaks me out. Are there any local Master competitions? Anyone?
