March 2014 Blogging Challenge

March 2014 Blogging Challenge

February, only two more weeks left. This new year is getting off to a quick start. March is nearly upon us and that brings all sorts of new things; Spring, warmer weather, and hopefully more sunshine. It also brings with it basketball and something called March Madness.

Not being a basketball person, at all, I thought I’d create my own little March Madness related to blogging. I’ve created a March Madness blogging challenge for you. Feel free to play along, do all the topics or be selective and just do the ones you want. There are no rules and no punishments. But, I promise, there will be satisfaction and blogging happiness in participation and completing something.

2014 Monthly

I created this with the Alabama Women Bloggers in mind but anyone can play along. I am one of the editors there and we’ve really ramped up our presence on the web with these lovely women bloggers. I am honored and feel privileged to be a part of something wonderful while we gather, grow, and connect so many people.

You’ll notice that I’ve created categories for a certain day of the week. For example, Mondays are all about the town you live in while Tuesday is all about Spring. Hint, hint to the Alabama Women Bloggers; Mondays would be a great time to submit your blog for our Sweet Home Alabama series.

March is not only for basketball lovers but it is also National Women’s History Month. Did you know that? Now you do and so Wednesdays will be all about blogging about a women in history.

This is meant to be fun and creative as well as helping you get your blogging groove on with new ideas. Want to show off your blogging skills after you published about a specific topic? Then join the Alabama Women Bloggers Sunday Brunch Linkup (published every Sunday at 10:00AM) by submitting your best post of the week.

Anyway, I thought it would be fun. Feel free to share with others.
