My Moleskine Planner

My Moleskine Planner

This is NOT a sponsored post. I repeat, not a sponsored post. I just like Moleskine notebooks and I like to write about them from time to time. Moleskine notebooks are not the only products I like, I like other things too and I plan to write about great finds and stuff I like from time to time.

For now, though, it is the Moleskine Notebook. More specifically, the Weekly Planner in their large, black soft cover.

Believe it or not, we are creeping up on November and before you know it – yes, it will be January 2014. And you all know what that means… a new planner!

I know most of you hotshots use your smartphones, iPads, and gadgets to keep yourself organized. However, I also know that there are others out there like me, who still need to write stuff down. I know, I’ve seen you all out there and I even know a few of you face-to-face.

Me? This is my system – First, I write everything down in my planner and then I put events, appointments, and important remember dates in my smartphone with alert reminders set to chime.

The reason I like this particular Moleskine Planner is for several reasons:

  • It’s small enough to throw in any size bag or purse, easy to carry around, portable.
  • On one side it has the week laid out with ample room to write in appointments.
  • On the other side is a blank page where you can write notes or to-do lists. I use this side to write out my “absolutely must get accomplished this week” list. Do I accomplish everything on that list? Not always, not every week, but then I simply transfer what I didn’t get to onto the next week’s page and trudge on.
  • I also like its soft cover; makes it more pliable to my daily grind.

Here is an unfiltered image of the same notebook, later in the year so you can see what it looks like without all of my scribbles on it.

Anyway, I just wanted to share the Moleskine Planner with you all today. What sort of planner/organizer do you carry?

Thanks for reading,

I like old school notebooks, planners, etc., too.
In fact, I need a good, digest-sized journal to keep notes in as I write my next novel.
I’ll have to look into this brand.
    Thanks for the idea!

🙂 Thanks Keith, I love a good Moleskine! They come in all sizes, types, and colors. A bit pricey but worth it to me.

I am a Moleskine addict. I love them. They are worth the cost. I love that I can throw them in my bag and take them just about everywhere and they don’t get messed up. I love the back pocket for all sorts of things. I love the paper itself that holds up to my pens, my washi tape, my flipping back and forth. I love that they come in all shapes and sizes. I love that they come in lined, grid and plain papers. And I love that they come already set as a planner.
