October Moxie Fit 50 Progress Report. Starting the fourth month (out of six) of my personal challenge that I named #MoxieFit50. It will go until December, started back in June. Here is the October Moxie Fit 50 Progress Report.

Let’s just get the weight out of the way first thing. Right now I am fluctuating between 161 and 163 pounds. It is my eating and that time of the month. There. Now, let’s move on to other things.

The knee is MUCH better and I have even done some slow jogging on it. Also, attempted some SMALL box jumps. All is A-OKAY. Still just trying to ease back into the groove of things.

September’s PRs (Personal Record):

On September 22nd I got my very first toes-to-bar. See video at end of article to see what a toes-to-bar looks like.

On September 26th I accomplished 110# squat clean thruster. I had never done this movement before, not together. I’ve done squat cleans and I’ve done thrusters but I’ve not put the movement together before. It was fun.

And the other day, I tried a kipping pull-up. ALMOST. I ALMOST have it but don’t feel comfortable saying I do have it yet. Not yet, but close. So close. I’m excited!

So our vacation is fast approaching. I have already looked up a CrossFit box where we are staying and plan on visiting. I’ve already reached out to the Coaches/Owners to let them know I am going to visit.

My eating has been questionable lately. Sometimes I say on task and sometimes I don’t. It is a daily struggle. But I am not caving in completely so that is good. I used to give up completely in the past for having strayed off course with just one meal. Now, for the most part, I stay on target. But I know I could do better too.

When I started this challenge back at the beginning of June, I was at 177 pounds and between a size 14 and 16. I am now down to 163 and in between a size 10 and a size 12.

According to my new jean size, Levi’s Boyfriend jeans, my waist size is now down below 30 inches. I bought two.

Recently I tried on one of my favorite pair of boyfriend Levi jeans, size 14, and they FELL OFF OF ME! Dang it. I mean I am glad but those were my favorite jeans.

Here is the video of the toes-to-bar. It is more difficult than it looks. Trust me.
